Poway Sushi Lounge, located on Poway Road in the heart of Poway, CA offers the finest, freshest, most creative sushi, sashimi and rolls.
Poway Sushi Lounge was an idea conceived by two friends working together for another restaurant, Sushi on the Rock in La Jolla and Carlsbad. Katie Rooney was the current Catering Director, having started the department after opening the Carlsbad location and being the Manager of Operations for both locations.
Frank Interlandi assisted in the opening of Carlsbad and was the Head Chef at that location. He worked for the company for seven years, starting in La Jolla, and was the main catering chef.
The two friends re-connected with a past co-worker, sushi chef Eric Wong and brought their fresh, creative cuisine to Poway. After purchasing Sushi Poway, the three partners began three months of remodeling and changes and emerged with a new menu, fresh new décor, and a whole new feel. Merchant Contact Info:
